OBERAMMERGAU ACCOMMODATION & SEATING PLAN Premium Tours: The Oberammergau organisers offer five categories of hotel accommodation. These range from the adequate HC5 category, right up to HC1, which are the best hotels available. All Insight Premium Tours will stay in HC1 Oberammergau hotels - now you can’t get better than that! In addition, HC1 hotels automatically include Category 1A seating for the Passion Play - the best seats in the house! HC1 hotels are described by the organisers as; luxuriously furnished, spacious rooms of the highest standard, with shower or bath/WC and a corner seating unit. They are equipped with a safe, minibar (or a range of drinks), colour TV, radio, direct dial telephone, internet access, hair-dryer, cosmetic articles and bathrobe. European Essentials Tours: The Oberammergau organisers offer a further four categories of Guesthouses and Inns, ranging from the modestly furnished GC4 rooms up to the best Inns and Guesthouses on offer - GC1 category. All Insight European Essentials Tours attending Oberammergau will stay in the best GC1 Inns and Guesthouses. These packages include Category 2 seats for the Passion Play. GC1 Inns and Guesthouses are described by the organisers as large, comfortable rooms (some of them apartments), for discerning guests with shower or bath/WC and a corner seating unit. They are equipped with a minibar (or a range of drinks), colour TV, radio, direct dial telephone, internet access, hair-dryer and cosmetic articles. Space will be confirmed and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. All of our packages will include 2 nights stay in the Oberammergau area. MOTORCOACH Luxury coaches have been specially reconfigured with fewer seats, you'll relax in style whilst enjoying up to twice as much legroom then on a standard touring coach - on EVERY departure with NO EXTRA SURCHARGE to pay. LUGGAGE: All tour packages allow one piece of luggage per person and one carry-on bag. Excess luggage will be subject to charge per piece. CHILDREN: All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age for children on escorted or guided coach tours is six. Minimum age for European river cruises is 12.
